True North Music & Core Music Presents Evie Ladin & Keith Terry

Core Music is privileged and excited to welcome California-based duo Evie Ladin and Keith Terry to Hexham as part of their 2022 UK tour. Evie and Keith perform a hugely entertaining mix of Appalachian roots music, step dance and body percussion. Their visit to Hexham includes the opportunity to attend a gig in the new Core Music Hub performance space as well take part in either a clawhammer banjo or body percussion workshop. Their performance is a duo performance throughout, with Keith switching between double bass and various kinds of percussion, and Evie switching between clawhammer banjo and guitar. Evie sings lead and Keith harmony. Their set is interspersed with body music dance pieces which usually have singing or some kind of vocal accompaniment.
