At Tanglewood we care very much for our family of staff, many of whom have been with us for decades.

 

We similarly care for our retail partners who serve and assist the Tanglewood playing community with care and professionalism. 

 

These consumer  serving partners have consistently faced continued , brutal challenges through difficult trading conditions , in what can most generously be described as an unpredictable retail landscape , and now we enter a third , indeterminate length of total nationwide lockdown .

 

 

And of course for you, our extended family of players who love music and sustain the joy and expression of playing an instrument for the benefit of us all, we share your disappointment over the enforced solitude and lack of communal musical activity in all its forms.

 

In light of the above we want to all come through this terrible Covid pandemic crisis as soon as possible and we will strictly adhere to government guidance to do so, the well-being of everyone is absolutely paramount to us .

 

From Tuesday 5th January 2020 here at Tanglewood we will be working on a very limited, socially distanced flexible staff rota , to try and keep business as close to normal as possible whilst allowing isolation time for all our team members in rotation .

 

We are determined to protect and maintain 100% of our hard working staffs health & family income and will try our utmost within safe, government instructed guidelines, to keep our retail community alive.

 

All our team will continue to be paid whether they can attend work or not and for those whose role is not possible to be fulfilled within the Tanglewood business right now many will use their free paid time to volunteer in the community for those most in need, as the team did in the first & second lockdown.

 

We feel it is incumbent upon us to do our very best for everyone in this time of crisis as we’re sure you’ll agree.

 

So to support our retail store partners, many of whom will face extreme hardship through enforced showroom closures. we are relaunching the emergency Direct to Door shipping service on their behalf.

 

We want YOU to consider discovering the gift of music, learn an instrument, share the love and in a small way help to SUPPORT your local music business, and let’s face it, as more and more of us now have to isolate and quarantine ourselves indefinitely, there couldn’t be a better time to discover the joy of making music and learning an instrument .

We will hand select, quality check and ship any instrument you desire and deliver that beautiful instrument directly to your home, on behalf of your local music shop.

 

Your local retailer will  be making the sale to you and you will have a full 12 month manufacturer’s warranty through the retailer , it will just be supported and administered by us whilst their premises are temporarily closed .

 

We are simply facilitating the sale in a logistical sense, administering the money and passing it on to the retailer whilst making sure you get a perfect product direct to door, just as you would have if the store had been able to open for you to pick it yourself.
