The SMILE project was created by the Hexjam Band & Core Music. It also features George Hutton's Amazing Drum Students, music staff and students of St. Joseph's R.C. Middle School, Hexham and special guests the Baghdaddies. The SMILE project was filmed and recorded by participants during the 3rd UK lockdown (Dec - March 2020/21) and focuses on the themes of, smiling through adversity, supporting Arts and Culture and and promoting positive mental health via participation in music.
The SMILE project was created in partnership with Core Music and the Northumberland Cultural Fund.
